Winter is coming… That’s right, the season of sipping deliciously fragrant chai tea by a hot fire, while a blizzard (or a single snowflake) swirls outside. The smells of rosemary and thyme steaming in a pot on a stove…
Maybe you’re picturing a different winter, with nagging coughs, chills or late night trips to the drugstore? Imagine if you could just turn to your kitchen pantry or herb garden for those cold season ailments, and brew up a healing tea on the spot!
In this class, we’ll learn how to embrace winter with herbs! Join us for a fun day at Maple Spring Gardens, and learn to boost immunity, break a fever, loosen a cough, and soothe a sore throat with herbal teas, steams and syrups. We’ll sip on astragalus chai tea, stroll the farm to meet a few herbs, and make elderberry syrup for you take home!
